EMP is centrally located in Denver, Colorado USA in the heart of the Rocky Mountain Technology Corridor. While the Company's headquarters and manufacturing facility are in close proximity to its domestic U.S. customer base, EMP also supports key customers in Asia and Europe. In 2004, our fastest growing accounts were located overseas.
Over the years, EMP has invested heavily in a diverse asset base to assure a broad range of process capabilities – and also to support a wide array of specialized manufacturing applications. Our world-class production facilities have been a key ingredient to our success as an organization.
EMP’s facilities include a core manufacturing plant (CNC Mill and Lathe Departments), a Mechanical Fab Department (for value-added mechanical assemblies), and an Electrical Assembly Group (for box builds and component integration). We also maintain a Clean Room and full-service Quality & Inspection Lab, in addition to an Engineering Services group that maintains technical support on all of our active projects.

To achieve a diverse manufacturing capability in precision manufacturing, EMP has acquired various machining centers that represent the best-in-class equipment available today. Our machine tool list includes Kitamura, Mori Seiki, Nakamura, Mitsubishi, Daewoo, Hurco, Fadal, RoboDrill, Haas, and Matsuura, to name a few.
Our Electrical Department is equally well equipped, with various assembly and test gear in use from such companies as Voltech, Weller, Cyklop, Adams-Maxwell, and Ideal Industries.
Our facilities also include onsite capabilities in Heat Treating, Welding, Cleaning, Grinding, Polishing, Detailing, Bead Blast, and Tumbling. Brazing, Anodize, and other Plating Services are performed offsite through a series of partner companies.
