EMP has significant experience in the use of exotic metals and compounds for use in both Medical and Aerospace applications. Among the materials that are commonly used within our manufacturing operation include titanium, tungsten, invar, FDA-certified plastics, and magnesium.
Through the use of our Wire EDM machine, we are capable of producing mathematically contoured shapes used primarily in aerospace and aircraft applications. EMP recently produced a series of contoured counterweights to be used in balancing the elevator portion of a prototype aircraft wing.
